Platform Settings

Purpose: Platform-wide defaults for the single market this platform operates in today.

Set the default currency code shown on earnings and payment notifications
Set the default locale and timezone
Phase 1 of regionalization — a per-region override layer is a separate, later effort

Platform Defaults

Read live wherever a payment/earnings record has no currency of its own stored on it.

Currency code *

ISO 4217 code — shown in earnings totals and payment-processed notifications.

Scope

A payment record's own stored currency always wins — this only supplies the fallback when one hasn't been set. Newly created records still default to JMD at the database level; changing this doesn't retroactively rewrite existing records.

Activity tracking

Behavioural telemetry — screen views, searches, funnel steps — feeds the Audit Log Navigation tab. Screen and event names only; no message, form, or search text is stored.
